Swedbank Arena
The multi-functional stadium, Swedbank Arena in Solna, built by Peab is one of the largest Strangbetong contracts ever.
Swedbank Arena will be the Nordic region’s largest multi-functional arena with an audience capacity of 50.000 spectators at football matches and 65.000 spectators at concerts / shows.
The arena can be used year-round, as it is heated and has a closeable roof. It becomes the scene of the largest and most attractive events in the Nordic countries, both in sports and show business. The inauguration is estimated to 2012.
The previous collaboration with Peab in the construction of Swedbank stadion in Malmo resulted in the continued confidence and contributed to the choice of Strangbetong as contractor to Swedbank Arena in Solna. Work includes stands, floors, walls, columns and beams. The erection has begun in February 2010.
